Alex Filipovic
Summary
Born in Belgrade, Serbia, Alex (Keder) learned his first soccer steps playing futsal pickup games with older players form the city. At age 11, he joined the Partizan Soccer Club Youth Academy, playing futsal tournaments in many European countries. At 15, Alex became the youngest-ever Serbian Futsal National Team member. Turning Pro at age 21, Alex joined the New York Express Arena Soccer Club and later completed his professional career playing for the San Diego Sockers. Alex is honored as one of the "San Diego Sockers Legends" for his success on the field. He continues to promote the game at the youth level as the Founder, President and Technical Director of the 949 Futsal Club, Irvine California.
